On July 22-25, 2018, Dr. Ernesta Malinauskyte attended Advances in Cosmetic Formulation Design, a new ECI conference in Durham, North Carolina. Ernesta gave an oral presentation, “Effect of city pollution and its cleansing treatments on hair”, where she investigated the differences in pollution levels on virgin and bleached hair, as well as the effectiveness of anti-pollution shampoo and three different anti-pollution systems in comparison to regular shampoo. Ernesta also presented a poster, “Characterization of ozone effect on human hair".
