Innovative Hair and Scalp Analysis

Dr. Samuel Gourion-Arsiquaud of TRI and Dr. Matthieu Jomier of Newtone, Inc. have published a method on Innovative Hair and Scalp Analysis Using Macroscopic Imaging. Macroscopic imaging is a novel approach to correlate in-vivo measurement with consumer perception during clinical trials. Combined with specific image processing algorithms, this solution allows extraction of quantitative parameters from acquired images in order to evaluate the impact and the efficacy of a variety or cosmetic or personal care products.
