Dr Paul Cornwell from TRI Princeton was an invited speaker at the recent International Trichology Congress (ITC) held in Manchester, UK, on 6-7th September 2019 http://trichologycongress.com
The congress attracted around 100 attendees, several of whom travelled from outside the UK. The congress covered a wide range of subjects including; treatments for hair loss and scalp conditions, hair transplant surgery, hair follicle biology and hair fibre science. Paul represented TRI Princeton and the ‘dead-hair-club’ with a presentation titled; “Causes of hair breakage in Afro-textured hair”. There was a lot of interest in this subject from the audience and useful discussions about which products and treatments to recommend to clients with very curly hair.
The next major hair science conference in the UK will be the 19th European Hair Research Society Meeting in Sheffield on 18-20th June 2020
