TRI in Brazil at COLAMICQ

Dr. Paul Cornwell was invited to speak about hair science at the 24th COLAMICQ congress (Latin American Cosmetic Science Congress) held on 21st-23rd May in São Paulo, Brazil. The event, hosted by the Brazilian Society of Cosmetic Sciences (ABC), attracted more the 430 attendees from all over South America and beyond. Paul spoke about the effects of water on hair properties in a talk titled “Water: A very annoying, yet vital, component of human hair”. A presentation that he had given recently at a TRI Evening Seminar (a video copy of which is available on the TRI website members’ page).

COLAMICQ will be back in 2021 in Argentina. Hopefully, TRI will participate again in this important meeting for cosmetic science in Latin America.
