Speed of Dryness with Dryers and Products

Products and Formulations

This method evalautes the ability of a product or formulation to increase the rate of hair drying. A typical dry time test would involve periodically weighing wet treated tresses until the weight reaches equilibrium or a level determined by the test protocol. Drying times are statistically analyzed to provide means and standard deviation

Hairdryers

The relative performance of hair dryes can be assessed by measuring the drying times and then if required, further validate the performance with other tests, such as shine or static buildup.  Refer to Static Buildup and Shine pages for more information.
